A mortgage services organization is seeking a

Loss Mitigation Workout Closing Specialist

to manage the execution and finalization of loan workout solutions. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, investor, and insurer guidelines while maintaining data integrity and supporting post-modification activities. The successful candidate will have direct experience in mortgage servicing, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Key Responsibilities

Conduct quality reviews of borrower-executed documentation to ensure compliance and proper execution Validate modification terms, including amortization and delinquency cures Reconcile capitalized amounts against principal balance adjustments Coordinate with internal departments on escrow balances, corporate advances, and fund movements Submit finalized workout packages to investor systems (e.g., FNMA, FHLMC) Review FHA payment supplements and manage cancellation or termination requests Process post-workout invoice payments and investor reclassifications Finalize loan details in proprietary systems post-workout Ensure accurate loan data for investor buyouts Support process improvement efforts across the loss mitigation closing function Maintain regulatory compliance with state, federal, and agency guidelines Perform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent (required) Minimum of 2 years experience in mortgage servicing or loss mitigation (required) Knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, or USDA documentation and processes Familiarity with CFPB regulations, FCRA, and FDCPA (preferred) Experience with proprietary servicing systems or document retention tools such as Blitzdoc or ICE (preferred) 10-key proficiency (strongly preferred) Skills and Competencies

High attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time management abilities Ability to interpret and reconcile financial data Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and servicing platforms Clear, professional communication skills Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment Comfortable handling confidential data with discretion Adaptable to a fast-paced and metrics-driven environment Work Environment
