NFI Parts Claims And Carrier Analyst
NFI Parts is North America's most comprehensive organization providing parts, technical publications, training, and support for buses and motor coaches. NFI Parts is the parts division of NFI Group, providing replacement parts for New Flyer transit buses, MCI motor coaches, ADL buses, ARBOC vehicles, as well as the product lines for the acquired NABI and Orion parts businesses. Additionally, NFI Parts has extensive cross references for parts that are common with other bus, coach, and cutaway product lines and has a mature supply base and established relationships with over 1,000 suppliers. POSITION SUMMARY The Claims and Carrier Analyst is the primary contact for all carrier claims and carrier performance reviews. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Primary contact for all questions regarding carrier claims and carrier performance reviews. File, track, and report all claims that are submitted. Monitor each claim throughout the entire process, including determining reimbursement eligibility, negotiating payment with each carrier, and processing payments. Provide continuous updates to management on the status of all claims. Review carrier damage history. Build quarterly carrier damage reviews and help lead carrier performance meetings when needed. Review freight data and invoices for accuracy. Answer freight-related questions from suppliers and customers. Assist the Traffic Coordinator with daily logistics tasks. Assist Senior Traffic Analyst with invoicing functions. Provide backup for colleagues as required. Review and make recommendations for updates to the freight process to improve service and cost. WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: High School diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years Transportation/Logistics experience. Must be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the carrier claims process along with a history of filing claims. Experience utilizing carrier metrics to track carrier performance. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. TMS (i.e. Mercury Gate) knowledge considered a plus. Carrier website navigation. Strong Customer Service and communication skills. Carrier interface/negotiation experience. This is an onsite position (M-F) located in Louisville, KY.
