Research Associate 2
LSU Department of Oceanography and Coastal Sciences is seeking a Research Associate 2 with fieldwork and analytical expertise and to help with data analysis and write reports. This position will support research projects led by PI Kanchan Maiti. Job Responsibilities: 80% Plan, coordinate and participate in field compliance across the state of Louisiana 20% Process data analysis, write reports, make graphs, order supplies, and other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Marine Sciences, Environmental Sciences or other science disciplines. 1 year of experience Specific Experience: Candidates must have experience in lab and field work and be willing to carry out fieldwork for extended period of time. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Marine Sciences, Environmental Sciences or other science disciplines. 1 year of experience Specific Experience: Experience in analysis of greenhouse gas emissions is preferred, but not required. Preferred candidates should be willing to carry out fieldwork within the state of Louisiana for extended period of time. Additional Job Description:
