Maintenance Auditor
Audits maintenance, repair, overhaul, and inspection information for life limited and hard time parts to ensure accurate tracking in the Maintenance Software Database (Ramco) and compliance with the Maintenance Time Limits Manual (MTLM). Essential Duties
Ensures the completeness and accuracy of life-limited component information (AirVault and Ramco) by performing back-to-birth audits, including but not limited to engines, landing gear, APUs, thrust reversers and batteries. Ensures components requiring overhaul are tracking the correct last done/next due values in accordance with the MTLM/MPD. Identifies tracking problems or errors through audits and takes necessary actions to resolve the problem and help ensure the safety of the operation of the aircraft. Performs historical audits on fan blades to ensure compliance with the eddy current inspections required by AD2017-17-18. Audits eddy current inspection paperwork for correctness and completeness. Updates engine fan blade configuration following the remapping/shuffling of blades. Audits engine logbook/records and landing gear records following the removal of an engine or landing gear prior to being sent for repair to ensure all information provided is complete and correct. Performs the same audits upon the return of the engine or landing gear from repair to ensure any replaced components are properly documented as necessary based on the maintenance program. Updates APU tracking information including the life limited parts in the records database and maintenance software database per the bi-weekly inspections. Install all A/C piece parts and update parameter values as part of the acquisition process. Communicates/interacts with repair providers as necessary to exchange or update information relating to components or work that has or will take place. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability necessary to perform this job. High school diploma or general education degree (GED). One year of related records auditing or other problem-solving relatable work experience. Ability to navigate between multiple systems and applications. Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent in Aviation field (management, operations, maintenance, A&P). Experience in aircraft maintenance. Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Able to write routine reports and correspondence. Able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Makes limited decisions and determines best methods to solve problems by referring to established precedents and policies. Decisions can impact the daily operation. Physical Demands
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds up to 10% of the time. Work Environment
