Truck Driver II
Parksite is looking for a Truck Driver to join our team in East Windsor! The Truck Driver II position is crucial for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods within the wholesale trade industry. This role involves operating a commercial vehicle to transport products to various locations while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate delivery records and ensuring that all cargo is secured and handled properly. Additionally, the Truck Driver II will play a key role in representing the company positively during interactions with clients and customers. Ultimately, this position contributes significantly to the overall efficiency and success of the supply chain operations. The driver will haul building materials in our 48' flatbed truck. OBC downloads routes daily with turn-by-turn directions; there is no need to plan routes! OBC also completes electronic logging and DVIR. This driver is expected to work as a valued delivery team member. The job primarily consists of local vehicle operations involving positioning and moving trucks and trailers at Parksite and customer locations to effect loading and unloading. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Operates company-owned and leased trucks over 4 tons to facilitate shipping and receiving operations. Operates trucks for the delivery, pickup, and the relocation of building products and materials. Performs required activities before, during, and after operation user maintenance and provides required reports. Provides outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations. Maintains all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs. Maintains and protects all property entrusted to you in excellent condition. Performs any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations. Job Requirements: CDL Class A license. Ability to operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner at all times. One or more years experience as a truck driver. Requires prolonged sitting, driving, and equipment operations. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Must be able to work in severe weather conditions, both heat and cold. Physical Demands and Work Environment: Frequent holding and grasping with the hands when loading and unloading equipment and while securing your load. Frequent use of foot/feet. Frequent lifting 50 lbs.; occasional lifting up to 90 lbs. Frequent pushing and pulling of truck side-curtain walls. Frequent use of winch & ratchet strap tie-downs for load securement.
