The Watchman Therapy Awareness Representative will be fully responsible for the development and adoption of the Watchman therapy in an assigned market. The TAR (Therapy Awareness Representative) will design and execute a therapy awareness plan that is in alignment with the strategic priorities of Boston Scientific Watchman while partnering with a greater team that includes Watchman clinical specialists and Territory Managers. This position will collaborate and build relationships with physicians and staff in the physician office and hospital setting, while building the Watchman brand across an assigned territory. Your responsibilities will include: Grow Watchman therapy awareness through education to fill the patient funnel within assigned accounts, consisting of identifying patient pathways from referring physician, creating pull-through strategies to ensure implantation, identifying opportunities in the process such as operational efficiencies, capacity, and patient pipeline. Conduct program development and follow-up activities within the community setting and create a pathway for referrals for the implanting account. Build and nurture relationships with the referring physicians, implanting account, implanter, nursing staff, and coordinators. Develop and enhance these relationships through therapy awareness activities, routine customer visits, product demonstrations, educational programs, procedural observation, trade show participation, and problem resolution. Develop and execute a strategic territory business plan within an assigned geography. Become the expert regarding Atrial Fibrillation disease state, LAAC, and anticoagulation market. Utilize marketing and healthcare solutions resources created to facilitate growth of LAAC awareness. Work closely with the Sales Management team in evaluating business conditions. Prepare and submit reports to Sales Management by analyzing and compiling data, projections, and other relevant information. Required qualifications: Minimum of a bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 2 years of successful sales and/or sales management experience. Preferred qualifications: Experience within cardiovascular or medical/pharmaceutical backgrounds. Demonstrated proficiency in delivering clear and concise oral and written communications. Achieved measurable results as a collaborative team player. Thrives and consistently performs in high-pressure, competitive environments. Successfully built and maintained a portfolio of strong customer relationships. The anticipated annualized base amount for this full-time position will be $112,000.00, plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives) as well as the value of core and optional benefits offered at BSC, which can be reviewed at www.bscbenefitsconnect.com. Actual compensation will be commensurate with the demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
