Research Coordinator/Data Coordinator -- Menlo Park
Engage in human subject research focusing on wearable devices in an exercise setting. You will monitor participants using various technology products, ensuring accurate data collection throughout their scheduled sessions. Conduct research with human participants following established protocols. Consent participants and take necessary vitals and measurements, such as height, weight, and EKG. Set up participants with devices and monitoring equipment. Observe participants using devices during various activities according to the protocol. Ensure data monitoring and collection are functioning properly, both through equipment and manually. Guide participants throughout the study ensuring their understanding and comfort. You will be working in either morning or afternoon shifts, with each shift lasting 6 hours. Morning shifts start at 7:30 AM and evening shifts at 2:00 PM, with operations running until 9:00 PM. Flexibility allows candidates to work either or both shifts, and double shifts are an option. Expect variations in scheduled hours depending on participant availability. Lunches are provided, and you'll be on your feet for extended periods, working with participants in a simulated environment that may include outdoor activities. The casual dress code requires attire suitable for active engagement while maintaining a presentable appearance. Training primarily occurs during the day shift, with accommodations available for evening shift trainees. The pay range for this position is $25.00/hr.
