Industrial Electrical Superintendent
Dayton, USA | Industrial Electrical | Hourly | 30-35 per hour Based on Experience | Full Time | Full Benefits Available Job Summary: The Industrial Electrical Superintendent position serves as an essential part of our industrial projects, where they will be responsible for ensuring a quality install for our customers and doing so by promoting safety at all times. The majority of the Superintendent's time will be spent in the field and may assume responsibility for site walks and estimating small jobs. Promote and ensure all partners know Moore's Vision, Mission and Values and are striving to live by these principles. Ensure protection of all partners by making safety our first priority and executing well on all lead measures. Attend turnover meetings for all responsible projects. Quote small projects. Layout work with supervisor Help complete job setups, buyout, and info sheet if your PM is the project lead. Assist with material tracking and lead times. Compile information and pricing for change orders at the request of the customer. Assist with drawing markups and complete safety checklist. Prepare As-Builts and help with internal punch lists at job completion. Perform other duties assigned by project manager. Submit timecards for the field partners. Have a plan for the following week Submitting a weekly recap of the week Help perform work as needed Requirements:
5+ years of industrial mechanical experience 2+ years of job site leadership experience Great interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal Exceptional leadership skills; dedication and patience are key Able to read and interpret all job site documentation with no supervision Ensure that installations are done per job documents and drawings Provide a safe job site for you and your team Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Smart sheets. Understanding of Accubid and Procore software Lifting as much as 85 pounds Ability to handle and control tools or equipment Ability to work outdoors with exposure to weather Ability to work at heights from ladders, lifts and/or scaffolding Ability to work in cramped, awkward and/or confined spaces while kneeling, bending, crouching, or stooping for prolonged periods of time Must have a valid driver's license We Offer: Health, Dental, & Vision Insurance Coverage begins on the first calendar day of the month following date of hire.
