Accounts Receivable Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing team. This role involves managing customer accounts for past due balances, both domestically and internationally, and will require strong problem-solving skills to ensure accurate and timely collections. Responsibilities
Manage accounts receivable for customers with past due balances, both domestic and international. Obtain primary financial data for accounting records. Compute and report numerical data accurately. Verify the accuracy of business transactions. Perform data entry and administrative duties. Work with companies in the wholesale fashion industry. Facilitate incoming payments via check, credit card, or wire transfer. Monitor AR accounts and communicate any discrepancies with customers. Essential Skills
Experience in accounts receivable, collections, accounting, invoicing, reconciliation, and cash application. Proficiency in data entry and customer service. Associates Degree in Accounting and 1+ years of AR experience, or three years of experience in accounting, finance, or related fields. Fundamental knowledge of GAAP principles. Ability to prioritize tasks and strong organizational skills. Qualifications
Capability to handle 50-100 invoices each week. Strong problem-solving skills to locate and correctly collect payments. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
