Seeking a highly motivated Investment Banking Associate to join the New York M&A team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of relevant experience/exposure to investment banking. Education: An undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field, with an outstanding record of academic achievement. MBA degree preferred. Key Qualifications: Highly motivated, with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Detail oriented with strong analytical abilities Deep, sophisticated understanding of accounting and finance Excellent mathematical, writing, verbal and computer skills Ability to manage expectations of senior bankers while working on multiple projects simultaneously Effective leadership and coaching skills Sound judgement Commitment to satisfying internal and external customers Responsibilities: Build advanced financial models to value potential and actual clients and/or industries, leveraging broad understanding of valuation and broad finance/accounting topics Identify improvements to processes and propose solutions to complete tasks more efficiently Builds effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders Supports deal teams in development, presentation, and winning mandates Supports the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders Researches and analyzes company and industry financial and operating information Provides direction and feedback to Analysts; accountable for development and mentoring of Analysts Works mostly independently Compensation: $175,000.00 USD

$200,000.00 USD Salary: Pay Type: Salaried The above represents BMO Financial Group's pay range and type. Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group's expected target for the first year in this position. BMO Financial Group's total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
