What We Do

Business Analyst , you'll play a pivotal role at the intersection of technology and operations-managing and optimizing our electronic medical record (EMR) system while supporting core business functions like accounting, finance, and operations. You'll ensure accurate data, smooth workflows, and deliver insightful reporting that drives strategic decisions. Job Duties/Responsibilities

Manages the key record keeping systems, including the Electronic Medical Record System (EMR) and serves as primary contact person for support issues. Supports agency goals through evaluation and implementation of new reports, system options, processes, and workflows. Determines how changes will affect the business and systems and provides recommendations regarding the evolution of the system. Responds to inquiries and provides advice to the EMR work group regarding current and potential system inputs, processes, and outputs. Produces reports, timelines, and graphics with system data to support management operations and efficient usage of data. Maintains and ensures proper documentation and coordinates or performs testing of system modifications. Acts as liaison with Information Technology and/or outside vendors to support relevant systems. Maintains current understanding of industry standards, trends, and best practices through industry and other professional networks. Train and support staff learning in the EMR and other systems. Coordinates usage of the EMR for a positive clinician patient experience while maintaining accurate financial reporting data and flows. Works with relevant departments to create efficiencies with external data sources and the EMR, such as credentialing, billing, coding, client portal, etc. Creates financial models based on analyses to support organizational decision making relating to the revenue cycle. Develops financial plans and reports for organizational leaders, including monthly KPI data. Supports compliance and record retention administration across multiple systems. Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Technology, Accounting, Business, or related field required. Three to five years of related experience is preferred. Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software program, including GP Dynamics preferred. Experience working with an electronic medical record system is strongly preferred. Knowledge of business office functions, billing, accounting, etc, related to health care is strongly preferred. Extremely organized with great attention to detail. Ability to adapt to change, learn quickly, and to creatively solve new problems. Excellent customer service skills.

Salary: $62000 - $73000 per year
