Workforce Systems. The Assistant Director - Workforce Systems provides strategic and operational leadership for workforce management technologies, including enterprise-wide scheduling, time tracking, and productivity platforms. This role directly oversees a team of information services managers, system architects, analysts, and technical staff who support the configuration, optimization, and user adoption of cloud-based workforce systems across the healthcare system. The incumbent plays a key leadership role in ensuring the alignment of workforce technology with operational goals, regulatory requirements, and employee engagement priorities. A strong focus is placed on cross-functional collaboration with Human Resources, Payroll, Nursing, and Operations to ensure workforce systems meet organizational needs at scale. Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. 8+ years of experience in information technology management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role supervising teams of IT professionals. Strong knowledge of cloud-based HR and workforce management systems, ideally with experience in platforms like UKG Pro Workforce Management (formally Dimensions). Experience working within healthcare or large enterprise environments. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to develop strategic plans aligned with organizational goals. Proven track record in managing complex IT systems and projects. Experience with vendor management, system implementation, and enhancements. Strong understanding of healthcare operational workflows and compliance considerations. Ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights. Leadership experience in fostering a collaborative team environment. Technical proficiency with cloud systems, scheduling, and HR analytics. Travel Requirements: Up 10% domestic US travel (depending on projects).
