Salesperson Position
Citigroup Global Markets Inc. seeks a Salesperson for its New York, NY location. Duties include working with Citi's largest institutional investor clients in the United States and Canada. Deliver customized and sophisticated investment advice and solutions to clients managing multi-billion dollars portfolios that invest across Pan-Asia. Generate alpha for Citigroup's investor clients by leveraging the experience and understanding of Citi's proprietary complex corporate finance strategies, capital market security fundamental analysis, interpretation of cross-asset correlation, and positioning data and internal derivatives flow data. Work closely with Citigroup's Equity Capital Markets business to provide Equity Issuance advice to Asia's largest public and private companies looking to access the US Institutional Investor base. Help to shape corporate investment thesis, valuation assessment, investor targeting, and CEO/CFO messaging. Partner with Citigroup's Prime Finance team to originate novel financing opportunities with the world's largest Hedge and Long Only funds, across long/short equity prime broking, Delta 1/Single Stock Swaps, and more exotic financing, including FX Prime Finance, Investment Grade Credit Prime Finance, and Convert/SPAC Finance. Work with Citi's Equity Derivatives division to originate, structure, disseminate, and monetize both linear and non-linear derivatives strategies that enable Citigroup's largest Institutional Clients to optimize their portfolio construction, either by delivering enhanced returns/optionality, or by providing bespoke single stock/factor risk hedges, or overall portfolio hedges. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols. Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Economics or a related field, and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in a related finance occupation using sophisticated statistics and fundamental research, providing investment ideas to global institutional investor clients. Six (6) years of experience must include: assessing corporate finance strategies, capital market security fundamental analysis, interpretation of cross-asset correlation, positioning data and internal derivatives flow data; delivering customized investment advice and generating alpha for coverage institutional investors clients across New York/Connecticut, the Mid West, Mid Atlantic, West Coast, and Southern Region; providing potential hedging ideas to reduce investors' portfolio risks; proposing Delta 1/Single Stock Swaps, P-Notes and other exotic financing options to Hedge & Long Only funds; locating investors interest, connecting investors with Asia's public and private companies to participate the Equity Issuance; and shaping corporate investment theses, valuation assessment, investor targeting, and CEO/CFO messaging.
