Part-time Group Class Instructor

HealthFitness is looking for a part-time Group Class Instructor to join the fitness team at our client site located in Durham, NC. In this position you will provide fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members participating in our Cycling program and/or general group exercise programs - teaching classes such as circuit, strength, HIIT, dance, step. You will be teaching a minimum of 1 class per week. Minimum Requirements: Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required. Current HealthFitness approved Cycling certification required to instruct Cycling. Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required. 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred. Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required. Compensation: $40.00/hr - $55.00/hr. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications. Additional commission opportunities for someone with an industry recognized and HealthFitness approved Personal Trainer certification.
