Pines of Sarasota is currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of a
Driver.
The
Driver
will perform the following tasks: Drives a box van truck throughout the community to pick up donated items and return them to the Thrift Shop for eventual sale. Load and unload donations and handle the transfer of merchandise from the storage sheds onto the sales floor. Maintain a neat and orderly furniture department and assist in maintaining the orderly operation of the Thrift Shop, generally. Assist with cleaning and repair of donated items in order to prepare them for sale. Assist with phone calls regarding donations or other inquiries and maintain accurate records regarding donations. Attend to the register as needed. Requirements
The ideal
Driver
will meet the following requirements:
High school education or equivalent experience. Experience in driving a box truck van or other delivery vehicle. Knowledge of the geographic community and street locations. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Clean driving record Valid driver's license
