Academic Dermatologist

The Dermatology Service in Division of Subspecialty Medicine in the Department of Medicine is seeking an exceptional academic dermatologist at any rank to join our outstanding faculty with a focus on oncodermatology and consultative dermatology. The Dermatology Service is comprised of over 20 full time faculty. These faculty deliver care in a state of the art facility in Manhattan, NY as well as across MSK's network that extends from New Jersey to Eastern Long Island. The Dermatology Service is internationally renowned for its leadership in the fields of dermato-oncology and oncodermatology. There are highly integrated multispecialty teams focused on melanoma, complex non-melanoma skin cancers, and cutaneous lymphoma. There are specialty clinics for GVHD and wound care as well as exceptional programs for inpatient and outpatient consultative dermatology. The world-class dermatology imaging program is at the international forefront of the development and application of the full spectrum of imaging technologies ranging from 3D total body photography to subsurface reflectance confocal microscopy. The research portfolio of the Dermatology Service includes optical engineering, artificial intelligence, basic science, translational science, epidemiology and clinical trials with over $5 million of annual funding from NIH, Foundations, Industry, and philanthropic sources. The research program is supported by a dedicated full time epidemiologist/biostatistician and a dermatology specific informatics program. Key Qualifications: Core Skills: The ideal candidate for this position is an individual with a vibrant and innovative research program in any field of academic dermatology with a clinical interest in oncodermatology. We seek applicants who have leadership skills and the ability to set and share a strategic vision, promote team science and foster a collaborative approach to mentoring trainees and faculty. The ideal candidate is a physician-scientist with expertise in both the delivery of top-quality clinical care and advancing understanding of the biology of these diseases and the development of novel therapeutic strategies and the conduct of clinical trials.
