Job Summary

Provide instrumentation and electrical support to the three Matheson Tri-Gas Steam Methane Reforming Hydrogen plants in Lima Ohio, and one plant in St. Mary's PA. Candidate must have a strong focus on safety and system reliability. The jobholder will be based in Lima Ohio, reporting to the Site Cluster Manager. Qualifications

High School Diploma required. Associate degree in a technical discipline is a plus. Must have an ISA Level 1 CCST certification or have the ability to obtain ISA level 1 certification within one year of date of hire. Must have the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems and instrument control systems. Capable of calibrating pneumatic, electronic, and digital instrumentation. Experienced in industrial automation systems. Basic understanding of computer networking and process technology. Familiar with NEC, ISA, and federal, state, and local regulations for the repair, service, and installation of industrial electrical systems. Skilled in understanding technical publications, manuals, and schematics for equipment maintenance and repair. Capable of working independently with minimal supervision. The position primarily involves working straight days, with occasional shift work, turnarounds, call outs, and mandatory overtime. The role includes installing, maintaining, calibrating, repairing, and troubleshooting plant electrical systems and process control instrumentation. Technicians work throughout the facility, both indoors and outdoors, often exposed to weather elements, heat, dust, noise, and vibration. The site involves hazardous materials under pressure and elevated temperatures and may require working at heights on vessels and towers or in confined spaces. Responsible for the repair and maintenance of a wide variety of electrical and instrumentation systems supporting production and control equipment, facilities, buildings, and grounds in our manufacturing environment. Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical equipment and components, including low voltage (120V

480V) systems (e.g., MCCs, Switchgear, Disconnects, distribution panels, drives, transformers, motors) conduit installation and cable pulling, lighting, intrinsically safe, and explosion-proof electrical practices. Installing, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of Instrumentation (e.g., pressure, temperature, level, flow, vibration, transmitters), Automation Equipment (proximity switches, limit switches, photo eyes, pneumatic solenoids), Standalone human machine interface (HMI) and HMI workstations, Control Valves / Actuators, Fire and gas detection systems. Maintain and troubleshoot ESD and safety interlock systems (SIS), DCS and PLC systems. Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, Signal Flow Diagrams, Wiring Diagrams, Panel Drawings, One-Line Drawings, Loop Sheets, and Wire Lists. Basic mechanical skills and proficiency with common hand tools. Lead by example and ensure adherence to all site safety standards. Performs other duties as assigned.
