Manages a credit administration/loan review group responsible for production Ag loan approval, administration and review activities that support established credit objectives. Ensures credits adhere to existing policies and regulatory credit specifications; documentation is adequate to ensure security of collateral; and ongoing administration and review is adequate to maintain the loan portfolio's quality and profitability. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience - Typically eight to 10 years of related experience Preferred Skills/Experience - Advanced knowledge of Ag credit policies, credit analysis, procedures and philosophy - Strong analytical skills in relation to evaluating asset utilization and goals - Demonstrated analytical and risk analysis skills - focused in Ag - Thorough knowledge of organization, business practices, business philosophy, and ethics - Demonstrated management and leadership skills - Well-developed customer service/relations skills - Effective verbal and written communication skills Advanced knowledge in Lending Cloud - Preferred experience with nCino - Proficiency with Microsoft Suite - including Excel, Teams, Outlook, etc - Good negotiation and networking skill and ability - Established experience in building partnerships with Ag internal partners (Relationship Managers, Sales Support Staff, CRM Partners, etc.) - Ability to be a team player and be agile to needs of the team - Focus on growth within U.S. Bank Ag credit culture Location Details The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
