Associate Territory Sales Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW: Partner with the Territory Sales Manager in the coordination and execution of agency prospecting, agency onboarding, agency training, and meeting set up, and agency marketing designed to improve agency satisfaction, CSR loyalty and engagement. Provide the CSR/Agency with training on all Hanover systems including billing and POS. Work closely with the TSM's to improve new business results and increase conversion rates on consolidations. Responds to agent service questions and coordinate in resolving problems with Underwriting and First Contact. Travel with, and sometime without the TSM (s) within assigned territory to meet with CSR/Agents. IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL: Develop and execute a training/onboarding plan for all new appointments within the assigned territory, so that new agents are issuing Hanover policies within first month of appointment. Execute and manage marketing campaigns for TSMs if needed Provide consolidation support such as: scheduling and facilitating kick-off meetings, developing timelines, ensuring timelines are adhered to by agency, ensuring all declaration pages are pulled from the Agency in an agreed upon amount of time and participating in developing profitable growth through book rolls within existing and new independent agencies, Reviewing spreadsheet with agency and secure monthly issue order. Gather competitive intelligence data and drive understanding of competitors within the department Complete quotes for book rolls, (fast Starts, Competitiveness check). Create and distribute agency level communication for agents to include newsletters, web based messages, and other relevant forms of communication. Serve as a project leader to develop specific agency marketing plans for agencies upon request. Provides training to reengage existing CSR/Agents on Hanover Systems Provide sales focused training for groups of agents as needed Educate and train agency staff on Hanover product suite/capabilities Prepare for and execute statewide agency meetings Provide customer service to agencies on any questions related to Hanover capabilities; process issues, resolving problems, etc. Work with the TSM to create and deliver sales presentations Work with the agencies on any questions related to Hanover capabilities, book-roll process, quoting Hanover policies, and resolving problems, etc. Manage agency compliance with Company business processes May directly manage a small group of agents requiring maintenance support. WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Typically 2 to 5 years of work experience P&C knowledge preferred Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers Makes decisions in an informed, confident and timely manner Maintains constructive working relationships despite differing perspectives Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to negotiate skillfully, effectively influence and persuade other Considers the perspectives of others and gives them credibility Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills, specifically, strong at formally and informally presenting to others. Promotes and facilitates free and open communication. Thinks critically and anticipates, recognizes, identifies and develops solutions to problems in a timely manner. Demonstrates product knowledge of both Company and industry P&C, products Cultivates an environment of teamwork and collaboration Computer experience (MS Office, excel, word, etc.) Excellent computer skills, including MS Office, TAP and POS Ability to travel. (Travel estimated at 50 to 70% of time).
