Maintenance Technician
Our client is seeking 1st and 3rd shift Maintenance Technicians to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting overall operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of Manufacturing Maintenance experience, strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive approach to maintenance. Job Title: Maintenance Technician Location: Ankeny, IA Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday (1st Shift) or 9:30pm-6:00am Sunday-Thursday (3rd Shift) Pay Rate: $25.00-$27.00/hour (1st Shift) or $27.00-$30.00/hour (3rd Shift) What's the Job?
Maintain and repair all manufacturing and supporting equipment, including air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical systems. Install new or relocated machinery and ensure proper electrical supply to the equipment. Dismantle defective machines and equipment, installing new or repaired parts as needed. Conduct preventative maintenance on a bi-weekly and annual basis as per the Preventive Maintenance program. Repair and maintain the physical structure of the facility, including fabricating and repairing wooden structures. What's Needed?
High school graduate or equivalent. Minimum 3 years experience in industrial maintenance or a related mechanically inclined field. Strong mechanical skills, particularly in pipefitting and heating within a manufacturing environment. Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and perform repairs effectively. Good oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions. What's in it for me?
