Were looking for a Backend Scala Engineer to help architect and scale a next-gen AI platform used by enterprise customers across industries. Youll join a high-caliber engineering team building intelligent systems that integrate data, inference engines, and scalable APIs to power real-time AI workflows.

What Youll Do
Design and implement scalable Scala services that handle high-throughput data processing and AI orchestration Build APIs and microservices to support inference pipelines, data ingest, and model lifecycle events Collaborate with ML engineers to productize models into production-ready services Contribute to system architecture, database design, and CI/CD automation Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews

What Were Looking For
3+ years building backend systems with Scala (or functional programming proficiency) Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architecture Experience working on data-heavy or AI/ML-adjacent systems Startup experience or comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
