Early Childhood Care Navigator
The Early Childhood Care Navigator plays a vital role in supporting families, therapeutic providers and the Early Supports Services (ESS) and Outpatient Program. This role will promote a family-centered, comprehensive, and coordinated care environment that ensures compliance with regulatory agencies, ensures timely services and coordination are provided, and provides clinical administrative support. Essential Responsibilities: Develop relationships and ensure timely communication with clients, vendors, area agencies, staff, and caregivers. Answer and respond to calls from current and potential clients, caregivers, and referral sources seeking information on ESS and Outpatient Services. Coordinate intake and registration processes, including collecting and verifying documentation from clients and partner with area agencies to ensure ESS services are initiated. Routinely verify billing/insurance information and collaborate with the Billing Department to ensure efficient & compliant billing is completed. Assist therapeutic providers, families, and clients with providing area resource information and coordinating resources and/or services. Provide EMR support by creating and maintaining accurate and confidential client records. Manage and oversee client related data collection, reporting, and distribution functions both in EMR and state databases while maintaining confidentiality and discretion. Support therapeutic providers by scheduling compliance meetings, regular therapeutic appointments, sending client reminders and managing schedules, as well as support with service coordination to ensure alignment with the Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP). Manage data collection/input to state database for submission of compliance data, in accordance with compliance standards & regulations. Prepare reports and documentation for audits and licensing verifications. Verify initial billing/insurance information and collaborate with the Billing Department to ensure efficient billing is completed. Participate in team meetings and contribute to program improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with state regulations and licensing standards as well as department and Agency policies and procedures. Promote and maintain satisfactory public relations between Easterseals CTS, other programs, funding agencies, and the community. Qualifications: Associates Degree in Business, Healthcare Management, Human Services or a related field with four (4) years of experience working in business or healthcare/therapeutic settings OR Bachelors preferred with two to three (2-3) years of experience working in business or healthcare/therapeutic settings. Experience working with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems required Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience working with diverse populations and underserved communities preferred Experience working in the early childhood or early intervention field, preferred Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Hours: This is an in-person position, Monday - Friday, 40 hrs Compensation: 21.00 - 26.00 Based on Experience and Education What's in it for you?
