Reports to: Chief Communications Officer Location: Palo Alto/Houston Role Overview The Vice President of Corporate Communications is a senior executive responsible for shaping and executing HP's global communications strategy. This leader will oversee corporate narrative development, CEO and executive communications, media relations, crisis and policy communications, and corporate reputation campaigns. The role is pivotal in advancing HP's voice on innovation, sustainability, and digital equity, while ensuring alignment with business priorities and stakeholder expectations. Key Responsibilities Strategic Communications Leadership Develop and evolve HP's corporate narrative to reflect its innovation agenda, sustainability leadership, and commitment to digital equity. Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team on communications strategy and positioning. Lead integrated communications campaigns that support HP's business goals and elevate its global reputation. Executive and CEO Communications Partner closely with the CEO to craft compelling thought leadership platforms, speeches, and media engagements. Manage executive visibility across global forums, media outlets, and internal channels. Media Relations and Reputation Management Build and maintain strong relationships with global media, analysts, and key opinion leaders. Lead proactive and reactive media strategies, including crisis and issues management, to protect and enhance HP's reputation. Corporate Campaigns and Storytelling Drive an always-on storytelling engine that highlights HP's innovation, impact, and leadership. Oversee the creation and execution of global reputation campaigns, ensuring cultural and regional relevance. Policy and Crisis Communications Lead global policy communications in coordination with government affairs and legal teams. Manage crisis communications planning and response, ensuring alignment with risk mitigation strategies. Team Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration Lead a high-performing global team of communications professionals. Collaborate with peers across Corporate Affairs, Marketing, Legal, HR, and Business Units to ensure message consistency and strategic alignment. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $250,000 - $350,000 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
