Macro Analyst Position
Brevan Howard US Investment Management, LP is seeking a Macro Analyst in New York, NY to be responsible for working on all elements of investment strategy including a fully systematic implementation of fundamentally-based macro trading across large, liquid developed markets. Construction and refinement of macroeconomic Nowcasts. Construction and testing of systematic trading strategies across macro assets. Development of attribution/diagnostic tools. Development and standardization of research output templates for Portfolio Managers, senior firm management, and investors. Must have a Bachelor's Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Computational Finance, or related field. Must have 5 years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Quant Researcher, or closely related role. The 5 years of experience must include experience with: 1) Building systematic investment strategies; 2) Constructing macroeconomic forecasts/Nowcasts; 3) Crafting in-depth macroeconomic research; 4) C#, C++, Python, advanced excel and VBA; 5) Bloomberg, Refinitiv/Datastream, and other major macro data providers; and 6) Complex data visualization. Salary: $210,000/year
