Supervises employees who test and/or inspect products to determine compliance with specifications. Must Have

Apprentice graduate, Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and 6 years of applicable technical experience. 4 years of related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree. A minimum of 2 years as a Supervisor Test Inspection 1 or equivalent position plus a minimum of 8 years related non-exempt experience can be substituted for a Bachelor's degree and experience. Nice to Have

This candidate should be knowledgeable in MT/PT/ET/VT inspection processes and principles, and have a working level knowledge of shipbuilding construction processes across VCS, CLB, FS, and CNC programs. The candidate should have considerable knowledge of the safety, security, and execution requirements for NDT. The candidate should be well versed in fundamental Quality Control and Quality Assurance principles. The candidate should possess a working level knowledge of EVMS and have the ability to manage direct and indirect budgets. The candidate should have a demonstrated ability to build teams with internal/external customers and within their own organization.
