Laurel Heights Hospital is a 112-bed facility located in Atlanta, GA. We are dedicated to providing youth with compassionate mental health treatment that encourages self-responsibility and personal growth. We provide psychiatric treatment to children and adolescents that present with a broad range of psychiatric, behavioral disorders, and autism. A clinically skilled multidisciplinary team works to partner with the youth and family to accomplish their goals in a supportive and therapeutic environment. Cook Position Requirements
The cooks must be able to: Maintain self-control in volatile or hostile customer service interactions. Concentrate on work amidst distractions such as noise, conversations, and foot traffic; consistently meet deadlines; and finish all food preparation at specified serving time. Be flexible in work hours in order to meet patient and organization operating needs. Read and comprehend recipes or instructions on prepackaged products. Read, convert, and adjust mathematical measurements for recipe adjustments. Use kitchen equipment such as knives, slicers, mixers, and dishwashers. Work independently, in a restricted physical environment for extended periods of time. Perform several tasks concurrently. Maintain information as highly confidential. Benefits

Four years working experience as a cook in a similar setting working. Must maintain self-control in volatile or hostile customer service interactions. Must be able to adjust recipes to achieve desired results. Must be able to read and comprehend recipes or instructions on prepackaged products. Ability to read, convert and adjust mathematical measurements for recipe adjustments. Must be able to use kitchen equipment such as knives, slicers, mixers, and dishwashers; knowledge of the essential hygiene factors involved in food preparation; knowledge of cleansing products and the appropriate methods of cleansing a variety of surfaces. Must be able to work independently, in a restricted physical environment for extended periods of time. Must have ability to perform several tasks concurrently.
