Does that sound like you? The Opportunity with McKinstry We are adding a Warehouse Manager to our growing Supply Chain and Logistics division in Seattle, WA. In this role, you will manage and support daily operations of the tool room, warehouse, inventory, and general maintenance. Additionally, some responsibilities you will have include: Developing and updating project schedules Responsible for keeping controllable expenses at or below the current budget. Oversee the acquisition, utilization, cost control, and functional condition of company owned tools and equipment. Manages equipment repairs, the preventative maintenance program, and fleet maintenance. Orchestrates the timely pick-ups and deliveries of tooling, materials, shop fabrication and major equipment. Manages jobsite and shop needs through communications with the purchasing department, vendors, field/shop foremen and operations personnel. Maintains and monitors proper inventory levels of tools and materials to adequately support shop and field production. Monitors the activities and efficiencies of the company's material returns operation. Compiles and analyzes data for asset/inventory accounts and labor budgets. Manages the HazMat program at the McKinstry Distribution Center in Kent. Maintains organizational compliance to DOT regulations. Maintains compliance with certification requirements for all tools and equipment stored in the tool room. Responsible for the year-end inventory process, preparations and reporting of accounts. Selects, trains, coaches and manages staff. Efficiently utilizes the assigned manpower in reaching objectives and goals. Includes team building, employee development, leading, directing and training of the toolroom staff. Serve as the primary liaison between our tool room team and the field teams and partners. What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry Bachelor's degree in business, mechanical engineering or construction management or equivalent work experience is preferred. Five (5) years of previous supervisory and warehouse management experience, including progressively responsible duties in warehousing is required. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio required; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred. Knowledge of tools and equipment used within the mechanical contracting industry and purchasing experience preferred. Knowledge and understanding of OSHA guidelines required.
