Housing for Health (HFH) is a program office within Community Programs, a division under the Los Angeles County Department Of Health Services (DHS). HFH was created and put into implementation in support of the Los Angeles County Homeless Initiative recommendations in response to and in support of the County's effort to address and combat homelessness in the communities residing within Los Angeles County. Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where employees work both remotely and from the office, as needed. The Billing Team ensures the accuracy and efficiency of project billing and data processes within the CHAMP system. They manage Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) projectshandling project lifecycles from slot and funding management to data validation. The team works cross-functionally with DHS Finance, Contracts & Grants, Department of Mental Health, and community-based agencies to ensure quality data and financial reporting. Salary Range: $35.23-$50.83 per hour Essential Functions: Provide technical assistance and training to internal staff and external Community Partners. Develop and implement workflow improvements for enhanced data accuracy and efficiency. Maintain project databases, ensuring data integrity and uniform standards across projects. Support policy development and programmatic benchmarks through outcome based analysis. Lead project management tasks, daily operations, and milestone tracking. Prepare and analyze reports on funding utilization, slot management, and deliverables. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure coordinated service delivery. Evaluate project performance by collecting and reporting key metrics. Monitor data quality across systems and implement corrective actions when needed. Manage funding allocations, monitor expenditures, and ensure compliance with funding requirements. Assist in processing tenancy support service requests and enhance service. Job Qualifications: One (1) year of complex administrative experience in: A program providing housing and support services to people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Making recommendations related to the design/implementation of homelessness prevention programs. Deep knowledge of data analysis and interpreting data. Ability to collaborate across departments to improve data. Strong relationship-building skills in mission-driven, fast-paced environments. Preferred Skills: Experience with database management and performance improvement through QA. Education/Experience: Experience with database management and performance improvement through QA. Certificates/Licenses/Clearances: A valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions. Other Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Proficient skill set in using an array of Microsoft Office Suite software programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Adobe Reader, One Note, Outlook, Publisher, Teams, Outlook. Able to multi-task and set workload priorities for time sensitive projects/tasks. Ability to problem solve and make recommendations to processes, policies. Able to communicate with all levels of personnel, written, verbal, in a professional and concise/clear manner; ability to work within a project team and/or independently.
