Job Summary: NTT DATA North America is a trusted global innovator of business and technology services, serving a significant portion of the Fortune Global 100. They are seeking an ETL / Data Movement Developer to join their enterprise data warehouse team, focusing on ETL development and data integration to support critical data warehouse subject areas. Responsibilities: Serve as a skilled Teradata ETL developer over multiple critical data warehouse subject areas. Possess a firm understanding of data warehouse design, ETL processes, and automated scheduling. Understand complex Bteq scripts and IWS job streams and jobs to troubleshoot, enhance, and support. Provide prompt and clear communications regarding data and schedule impacts. Provide appropriate escalations for risk avoidance and potential SLA breaches. Document ETL logic and workflow processing. Work within systems development lifecycle and release management processes. Apply project management techniques with waterfall and agile methodologies. Participate in 24x7 on-call support rotation for data loads and incidents. Meet all data load and reporting SLAs. Translate business and technical requirements effectively. Work independently in all areas of knowledge. Work with UNIX systems. Design, code, test, debug, and document data warehouse ETL code per standards and policies. Understand implications of decisions and core business processes. Manage multiple assignments and collaborate in teams. Write efficient, reusable, well-documented code. Update management on project status and escalate issues promptly. Expand skills with SAS Basic script utilities and other tools like Informatica Powercenter, Microsoft SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS. Qualifications: 8-10 years of Enterprise Data Warehouse ETL development experience. Extensive experience with Teradata and SQL (Oracle/Teradata). Experience with systems development lifecycle and release management. Experience in 24x7 support and meeting SLAs. Excellent communication skills. Experience with UNIX. 5-8 years designing and maintaining Tivoli Workload Schedulers. Ability to work independently and in virtual teams. Preferred: Knowledge of Informatica Powercenter, Microsoft SSRS, SSIS, SSAS. 8-10 years of Data Warehouse development and support. Innovative thinking and continuous learning. Understanding of the rental car industry is a plus. Ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical users.
