Property Management
This position manages a portfolio of M&T owned properties to ensure timely resale in an effort to minimize loss to M&T. Primary responsibilities include maintaining and liquidating a portfolio of M&T owned properties, addressing issues preventing timely liquidation, assigning real estate agents, establishing working relationships, negotiating cash for keys, opening eviction processes, staying current on SCRA laws, making arrangements for lock-outs, understanding personal property posting and property eviction requirements, writing up analyses of listing occupied, following eviction timelines, determining if repairs are necessary, researching and determining listing prices, following timelines established by investors, following requirements for vacant property registration and code violations, verifying taxes and hazard insurance, listing properties in the MLS, discussing marketing with agents, completing write-ups, reviewing and negotiating offers, engaging support to complete contracts, staying engaged with agents through closing, recommending liquidation through an auction house, adhering to compliance/operational risk controls, and maintaining M&T internal control standards. The position requires a combined 3 years' higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 1 year relevant work experience, organized and detail-oriented skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, strong customer service skills, and working PC skills including word processing and spreadsheet software. A bachelor's degree and knowledge of M&T Bank systems are preferred. The pay range for this position is $18.57 - $30.95 Hourly (USD).
