We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle PL/SQL ETL Developer with expert-level proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, Informatica PowerCenter, and Unix/Shell scripting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust ETL solutions to support data warehousing, reporting, and analytics initiatives. Candidate will play a key role in transforming raw data into meaningful insights by leveraging your technical expertise and strong problem-solving skills. Additional Information* The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Plano, TX is $110k - $120k/year & benefits (see below). The Role Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimize complex Oracle PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers. Develop and maintain scalable ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter. Write efficient Unix/Shell scripts to automate data processing and deployment tasks. Collaborate with business analysts and data architects to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes from various sources to target warehouses. Implement data validation, data quality, and error handling within the ETL pipelines. Optimize and troubleshoot existing PL/SQL code, Informatica workflows, and scripts for performance and reliability. Maintain detailed documentation of ETL processes, data mappings, and workflows. Support deployment and production support activities, including issue resolution and performance tuning. Requirements: Expert-level proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, including complex queries, cursors, collections, and performance tuning. Extensive experience with Informatica PowerCenter for designing and developing ETL workflows. Strong scripting skills in Unix/Linux shell scripting. Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices. Familiarity with database design, data modeling, and SQL optimization techniques. Experience with version control systems and software development lifecycle (SDLC). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Preferred, but not required: Knowledge of other ETL tools and languages (e.g., ODI, DataStage). Experience with Oracle Database administration. Exposure to cloud-based data warehouses or big data technologies. We offer: A highly competitive compensation and benefits package.
