As a Consumer Lending Processing Manager you will lead a dynamic and versatile team. Primary responsibilities are ensuring operational, organizational, processing goals are achieved in a Centralized Lending environment while lending support to your team. Forward thinking with a passion for delivering top notch member satisfaction. Specialized Essential Job Function: Effectively leads and supervises Loan Processing team (direct and indirect) team, including hiring, training, reviewing, scheduling, and other administrative duties. Motivates and engages team to meet/exceed goals by setting clear expectations, communication, monitoring, coaching, and support. Ability to facilitate meeting with management and staff to discuss goals, production, processes, and recommend improvements. Participate in on-going research and development to achieve process efficiencies leading to an improved member experience. Remain agile and assist with meeting production and service levels. Responsible for adherence to policy, compliance regulations, development of processes, programs, and procedures. Accountable for handling escalated calls from members and others regarding loan processing issues; receive complaints and resolve service-related issues. Other duties as assigned Position Requirements: Experience and Education: 5+ years' related experience required. Associates Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school. Equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for stated qualifications. Work Schedule: Hybrid work location available (Concord, CA). Flexibility to occasionally work weekend, early or late hours. Knowledge and Skills: Ability to write and speak effectively in English using correct spelling and grammar. Basic math skills including the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages using a 10-key. Proficient in the use of basic applications in a Windows-based environment, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Moderate keyboard skills at 40 wpm. Excellent customer service skills. Competencies: Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change; ability to quickly learn specialized applications and systems. Initiative and self-direction. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with people at all levels. Sound problem-solving and decision-making ability, including the ability to prioritize.
