General Labor Personnel Needed
We have partnered with an event center in Cedar Park, TX and are needing to hire general labor personnel to join the event conversion team! Conversion crew members are responsible for the set-up and tear-down of sport, concert, and private events such as dinners, graduations, corporate events, etc. Given that this is an events based schedule, the hours and days vary month to month. The event schedule is announced in advance but given the nature of public events, changes to this schedule are always a possibility. These roles offer an hourly rate of $18/hr and a full benefits package (details below). Individuals will be responsible for: Set-up and tear-down of event related equipment such as tables, chairs, risers, booths, portable stages, basketball flooring, plexiglass walls, and support equipment. Carry out routine maintenance related to general clean up, decorator set-up/rehearsal, event move out. Follow direction and execute tasks based on Conversion Shift Lead, Conversion Assistant, and/or Conversion Supervisor as necessary. Operate small equipment and machines such as pallet jacks, furniture dollies, etc. Work Experience: Stand, stoop, kneel and bend for extended periods of time. Able to lift upwards of 50lbs individually. Possess a working knowledge of power tools (Drills, Drivers, etc.) and hand tools (wrenches, hammers, etc.). Have flexibility to work nights, weekends, or holidays and understand the flexibility needed for an events based schedule.
