Robot Service Technician (Weekends, Part-Time)
Location: Columbus, OH (In-Person) Pay: $23
$28/hour Schedule: Weekends, 12 PM
9 PM (plus occasional weekday after 6 PM) Contract Length: 6 months About the Role
We are seeking hands-on, versatile Robot Service Technicians to support the production, maintenance, and repair of self-driving delivery robots. This role involves mechanical and electrical assembly, troubleshooting, and fieldwork. Responsibilities
Assemble harnesses, cables, and connectors for autonomous delivery robots Install and replace sensors (LiDAR, cameras, ultrasonic sensors) Perform routine maintenance and repairs Diagnose breakdowns and execute service campaigns Test and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components Provide onsite field support and manage inventory Assist in R&D experiments and prototyping Requirements
Experience with mechanical/electrical tools and measuring equipment Proficiency in assembly/disassembly, AC/DC currents, and electronic modules Ability to read and interpret 2D mechanical drawings Valid driver's license with clean MVR (last 12 months) Comfortable lifting over 50 pounds Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Team-oriented with excellent communication skills Preferred
Background in automotive service or manufacturing Advanced computer literacy Soldering skills
