Position Details: Summary of Duties: The Student Services Advisor 3 serves as a team leader and provides robust oversight and training for student case management support. This position is responsible for intervention, support, and prevention programs to assist students in distress, encountering challenges that impact their academic and personal success, or experiencing hospitalization or medical needs that require extensive and on-going case management. Coordinates the development, implementation, and/or administration of campus-wide student services programs and initiatives along with advising and counseling students. Required Qualifications Positions require a Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of professional work experience in student services or related

education/experience.

One (1) or more years of experience leading or directing the work of others. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional work experience. Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year?for?year basis.

Master's degree in counseling, psychology, education, social work, or related field.

Professional work performed in a medical setting is desired, and creditable towards the work experience requirements.

Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment.

Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Ability to attend to fine details, stay organized, and multi-task.

Experience working with diverse faculty, students, staff, and parents and families of students.

Demonstrated ability to exercise professional judgement and leadership, including the ability to work independently.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include working extended time frames, including late hours and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications Previous work experience at an institution of higher education.

Experience working with Maxient Software. Experience working with Title IX,

VAWA

ADA

, Title II,

FERPA

, and other regulations associated with the position.

eligible. Monthly Salary: $4,508.70 - $5,635.87

Commensurate with experience and qualifications

In accordance with

RCW 49.58.110

, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.
