Staff Office Coordinator
Full Time Days Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Fridays 4:30am - 3:30pm Job Summary: Responsible for the daily collaboration with clinical managers, administrative supervisors, and other key personnel to acquire and maintain the appropriate levels of daily staffing and scheduling to ensure the ability to provide quality patient care. Monitors, adjusts and corrects time and attendance, payroll, other time keeping functions for large populations. Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED. Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: None. Work Experience: 1 year related experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to utilize PC skills, including Microsoft Office, for correspondence and data entry. Effective written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to organize and prioritize work in required time frame and desired outcomes. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Prepares and maintains schedules to meet daily staffing requirements while making adjustments based on need/census in order to ensure quality patient care. Coordinates with clinical managers, administrative supervisors and other key personnel to adjust staffing in a timely manner. Assigns patient companions for patients with precautions. Monitors, adjusts and corrects time and attendance, payroll and any other related time keeping function ensuring timeliness, accuracy of data entry ensuring accurate payroll. Transcribes confidential correspondence, physician orders and other confidential documentation as needed in an accurate and timely manner. Processes reports for morgue. Performs reporting, updating of manuals, assists with updates to policies and procedures, any related clerical/secretarial duties that contribute the smooth operations of assigned areas. Performs any related support functions as needed to ensure smooth workflow process. Decision Making: Independent judgment in making decisions involving non-routine problems under general supervision. Working Relationships: Coordinates activities of others (does not supervise). Works directly with patients and/or customers. Works with internal customers via telephone or face to face interaction.
