Procurement Analyst
The Procurement Analyst supports Procurement Consultants, Procurement Specialists, and Category Managers in the planning, execution, and management of reverse auctions. This role involves assisting with sourcing document development, decision-making, and preparation for reverse auctions. The analyst will drive cost savings, enhance supplier relationships, and ensure the efficient procurement of goods and services through the strategic use of reverse auction methodologies. Additionally, the analyst will communicate reverse auction data and outcomes to assess cost savings and supplier performance, collaborating with Procurement leadership to continuously evaluate and improve reverse auction strategies and processes. Responsibilities
Support the planning, execution, and management of reverse auctions. Assist in sourcing document development and preparation for reverse auctions. Drive cost savings and enhance supplier relationships. Communicate reverse auction data and outcomes to assess cost savings and supplier performance. Collaborate with Procurement leadership to evaluate and improve reverse auction strategies. Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, supply chain, or related field OR 4 years of relevant work experience. 3 years of relevant customer service and/or procurement experience. Proficiency in procurement, purchasing, purchase order management, supply chain, and supplier management. Experience in supplier performance management, contract management, and procurement analysis. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills. Familiarity with Cognos preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with business partners, stakeholders, and suppliers. Work Environment
This position requires working onsite for 5 days a week, Monday through Friday, with a business casual dress code. The role offers a long-term opportunity with the potential to convert to full-time employment after 6 months, along with PTO and holiday pay while on contract. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.81 - $34.81/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
