Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Sr. Associate, People & Culture to join our growing human resources team, with a strong emphasis on recruitment and a passion for building a thriving workplace. In this role, you'll support full-cycle recruitment effortsscreening resumes, coordinating interviews, and managing our applicant tracking system (ATS)while also serving as a key liaison with external recruiters. Beyond recruiting, you'll help shape our company culture, create foundational HR policies, and use your expertise to fuel our small business's growth. We're seeking someone who thrives on rolling up their sleeves, bringing creative energy, and making a real impact in a fun, collaborative environment. The Sr. Associate, People & Culture will report directly to the Director, People & Culture, working closely with all Copia's cross-functional teams in an individual contributor capacity. Key Responsibilities

Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts, including managing job postings, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and partnering with hiring managers and external recruiters to meet hiring needs. Oversee and optimize our applicant tracking system (Lever) to ensure accurate, timely candidate tracking and a smooth hiring process. Support employee onboarding and engagement by coordinating orientation, collecting documentation, and contributing innovative ideas to enhance programs such as onboarding, performance reviews, and professional development. Support compliance and documentation for personnel files Serve as a resource for employees on company benefits, policies, and HR processes, providing guidance and resolving questions or requests. Provide innovative ideas to enhance HR initiatives such as onboarding, performance reviews, and professional development programs. Assist with culture-building and employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive, inclusive workplace. Assist with learning and development initiatives, including managing training platforms, creating and delivering training content, and ensuring compliance with required training. Collaborate with the People & Culture team on strategic projects that support company growth and employee satisfaction. What We Look For

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proven ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Exposure to HRIS systems and HR compliance practices Minimum Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in HR generalist role, with a demonstrated focus on talent acquisition Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred Experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS) Proven experience with Microsoft Office, including advanced proficiency in PowerPoint & Excel Ability to work in the Lake Oswego, OR office a minimum of 3 days per week.
