Project Lead

The Project Lead will execute the tasks needed to complete the store project for their assigned Corporate Account customer. The Project Lead will provide the on-site management and oversight of the merchandising of planograms for new stores, conversions, and line review work. Typical responsibilities include: scanning items to capture data, installing new bin tags, merchandising planograms, buyback processing, 3rd party labor management, and any additional tasks required to complete the customers project. Duties and Responsibilities: Executes and facilitates the predetermined plan for Corporate Account customer store projects as assigned by the Director of Corporate Account Conversions Execute New Store or Expansion projects as assigned by the Director of Corporate Account Conversions Completes any pre-work necessary for a successful project execution including communication and planning with vendors, internal support staff and customers Manages 3rd party labor while on site at a project location Regular and timely communication with management, sales department, peers, and customers Assures customer satisfaction at project completion, including signed documentation Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent written and oral communication skills, via email, virtual meetings, and phone with people inside and outside the organization. Representing Orgill, to customers, and other external sources in person, in writing, or by phone or email regarding projects. Coordinate tasks and project timelines with multiple team members and capacity to handle multiple projects in a fast paced, technology-based environment. Ability to communicate information and ideas both verbally and in writing, so others will understand and execute or respond. A natural problem Willingness to adapt as necessary to project demands, while completing the task and/or project as assigned. Ability to meet the needs of the customer, while executing the predetermined plan. Aptitude to establish priorities, meet deadlines, manage ones own time, and complete project objectives with limited supervision. Commitment to follow up, both internally and externally, and proactive response to assigned tasks. Ability to work effectively while away from the office using a cell phone, laptop, tablet, scanning equipment, and other electronic devices as Virtual meetings have become the norm, and are required. Flexibility to travel on weekends or evenings, and conduct business outside of normal business hours. Minimum Job Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Valid Drivers License Must be willing to travel 50% to 70% in addition to the Orgill Dealer Markets Service Oriented approach Strong organizational and decision making skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Enjoy a fast paced ever changing environment Preferred: Bachelors degree in a related field is preferred Working knowledge of the Google Suite of Products (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides) Experience reading, and understanding Microsoft Excel files, often with large datasets Experience with Hardware/ Building Material store operations and product offering Retail Store Merchandising experience Previous experience in retail sales or wholesale distribution Flexible, adaptable, willingness to learn Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
