Work Schedule: 16 hours every two weeks (flexible)! Can work 4, 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts. Rotating shifts, including day, evening, and night in a casual capacity. Rotating weekend and holiday coverage availability. NO on-call hours! Limited, if any, travel to Children's satellite and Express Care locations. we will train! If you're passionate about patient care and eager to grow professionally, apply today! Responsibilities: Properly identifies all patients by using two patient identifiers. Reviews patient history, assesses physician orders, and documents patient history in electronic record, as required. Administers PO/enteral and rectal contrast per physician orders. Ensure exams are coded, tracked, networked, and charged correctly. Performs diagnostic radiography and other procedures utilizing established protocols/procedures. Utilizes complex imaging equipment for the acquisition, analysis, and documentation of image data. Interacts with patients and co-workers with care, dignity, and respect. Demonstrates the ability to communicate instructions to patients in a clear and concise manner and explain procedures to help allay the patient's fears and solicit their cooperation. Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or verification from ARRT-approved school of completion of program and scheduled graduation date. Technologists hired before graduation will have indirect supervision by an ARRT certified diagnostic technologist until the degree is verified. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: ARRT Certificate or registry-eligible (must obtain within 6 months of hire) Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required within 30 days of hire.
