Mechanical Drafter / CAD Specialist
Twin City Staffing is hiring a mechanical drafter / CAD specialist to support residential and commercial cabinetry projects in Monticello, MN. Location: Monticello, MN Wage: $20 - $25 per hour, depending on experience Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Benefits of the mechanical drafter / CAD specialist: Comprehensive Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Coverage Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Life Insurance Short- and Long-Term Disability Accident Insurance Critical Illness Coverage Duties of the mechanical drafter / CAD specialist: Draft and design high-quality custom cabinets for residential and commercial use Create detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD and/or DraftSight Interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and client specifications Work directly with customers and designers to ensure expectations are met Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are feasible and align with manufacturing capabilities Make revisions based on customer feedback or production needs Requirements of the mechanical drafter / CAD specialist: 2+ years of experience using AutoCAD or DraftSight in a professional setting Degree or certification in Drafting, Mechanical Design, or a related field preferred Experience in cabinet design or millwork drafting strongly preferred Familiarity with Cabinet Vision software Ability to read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing specifications EOE: Twin City Staffing is an equal opportunity employer.
