Today, organizational programming focuses on humanitarian and disaster response, community strengthening and resilience, and refugee & immigrant services and advocacy. This position is reliant upon funding and may be subject to modification or termination based on resource availability. Provide Career Pathways (CP) services to refugees and other eligible immigrants, including vocational aptitude assessment, facilitation of vocational studies and initial job placement in their professional field. The Career Pathways Specialist will also conduct routine employment readiness and job placement services for other clients enrolled in WRD employment programs. Role & Responsibilities:

This role is responsible for supervising others and includes responsibilities consistent with supervising employees, including but not limited to monitoring daily work activities, tracking and approving timesheets including approving time off, monitoring performance including entering goals, progress check-ins, and weekly or bi-weekly check-ins, documenting performance concerns, entering staff promotions, transitions, and separations in HRIS within required time frame. Managers at World Relief are also considered spiritual leaders and are expected to lead staff in a manner consistent with our Christian values, including but not limited to praying with staff, leading devotionals, and fostering a Christian environment in interactions with staff throughout World Relief. Assessment of client eligibility for program. Collaborate with clients to create individual Career Development Plans (CDPs). Ongoing review of client service to ensure goals of CDPs are met. Conduct vocational aptitude tests for all enrolled clients and provide continued vocational coaching. Assist clients to enroll in vocational programs and actively support client progress. Job development for professional opportunities corresponding to clients' vocational certifications. Maintain accurate and up to date records including case notes, case files, budgets, and reports. Work closely with community educational partners to ensure placement and progress of clients in vocational pathways. Demonstrate professionalism and excellence in carrying out all required functions. Actively seek to develop and strengthen community partnerships to provide increased opportunities for personal and professional growth for RCP clients. Maintain open, ongoing communication with staff, volunteers, and community partners on behalf of clients in accordance with individual CDPs. Employment readiness and job placement services for additional WRD clients not enrolled in CP services. Other related duties, as assigned Job Requirements:

Mature and personal Christian faith Committed to the mission, vision, and values of World Relief Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities Able to affirm and/or acknowledge World Reliefs Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity and National Evangelicals For the Health of The Nation document Undergraduate university degree in related field, or equivalent professional experience 1-2 years' direct case work experience Advanced cross-cultural fluency, with ability to collaborate effectively with team members of other cultural, linguistic or religious backgrounds Excellent interpersonal and administrative skills Strong written and oral communication skills Experience developing community based partnerships Experience in job development Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel, and web-based interfaces such as SharePoint. Excellent time management abilities Ability to work independently and creatively to reach professional goals High levels of comfort with technology Valid driver's license, regular access to vehicle, and ability/willingness to drive clients to appointments Preferred Qualifications:

Bilingual preferred: Arabic, Burmese, Dari, Farsi, Pashto, Spanish, Swahili, Tigrinya.
