Banquet Server (On Call)
The Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale is in search of a talented Banquet Server (On Call) to join our team. The Banquet Server is responsible for ensuring the needs of the guests are fully attended to in a function setting. This includes gathering and transporting all supplies needed for the set-up of a function, setting all tables and back-of house prep space according to service standards, preparing the proper mis-en place for any event, and serving all food and beverage components according to the standards set forth by Four Seasons. Provide dependable, punctual, and enthusiastic service at all times. Comfortable lifting and carrying heavy trays and furniture based on the needs of the function. Offer pre-determined menu selections to each table. Maintain knowledge of each selections, origin, taste, and preparation method. Communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the Banquet Manager or kitchen. Check completed kitchen orders with the guests original order. Transport items to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality. Assist in set-up of linen, china, glass, silver, and accent pieces for each function according to the banquet event order. Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests. Breakdown, clean and set-up of tables, buffets, and food stations. Experience working in hotel/resort Banquet setting (Luxury experience preferred). Ability to carry up to 25 lbs over head continuously. Ability to stand/walk up to 8 hours per shift.
