Production Analyst
Drive operational excellence by ensuring accurate, timely, and complete production job processing within the ERP system. Deliver clear, actionable production performance reporting that empowers decision-making at the Plattsburgh facility. Proactively analyze production forecasts and material availability to align staffing with demand, identify risks before they impact outcomes, and partner with leadership to develop effective mitigation strategies that keep operations running at peak performance. Outcomes Needed:
Achieve 100% daily completion of production jobs in the ERP system with zero backlog. Identify and share inventory availability of all job materials needed to execute the Master Production Schedule (MPS), three weeks in advance of production start date. Partner with Production leadership and Manufacturing Engineering to increase Production efficiency % > 80%. Update Daily Ops Reports (Efficiency, MPS Status, Attendance, Safety KPIs) by 9:00 AM each working day, specifically using Epicor data. Maintain 100% up-to-date training records and matrices for all shop floor employees, with updates processed within 24 hours of any training event. Deliver travelers daily by the start of each shift; retrieve and complete travelers within 24 hours of job completion. Role Competencies:
Attention to Detail: Zero tolerance for errors in ERP transactions and reporting Organization and Time Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities (job travelers, reporting, communication) without missing deadlines. Communication Skills: Clear, professional communication between production and support teams; proactive in raising issues. Analytical Thinking: Ability to spot inefficiencies or inaccuracies in production processes and suggest improvements. ERP System Proficiency: Comfort navigating, transacting, and analyzing data in ERP software (experience with specific ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Epicor preferred). Accountability: Takes full ownership of assigned outcomes and escalates issues appropriately. Continuous Improvement Mindset: Seeks ways to streamline production administrative processes. Benefits
