Deliver presentations on disaster reactions and coping strategies to increase community awareness. Network and collaborate with community partners to represent and strengthen the Crisis Counseling Program. Participate in data collection, program training, and continuous professional development. Perform additional duties as assigned to support the mission and goals of the Recovery Services department. Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. Must be 21 years of age or older. Previous experience in disaster response preferred but not required. Additional Qualifications: Successful completion of background checks including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check. Current driver's license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed. Physical Requirements: Sedentary work involving sitting most of the time but may include brief periods of walking or standing. Occasional exertion of up to 10 pounds of force. Repetitive hand, finger, and arm movements for typing and writing during work shifts.
