Server Assistant
Location: Cherry Creek, Colorado (Denver) FLSA: Non-Exempt Status: Fulltime Reports to: Restaurant Manager Pay Range: $15.79/hour + tips Job Summary
The Busser is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area by clearing tables, assisting servers, and ensuring the restaurant meets high sanitation standards. This role plays a key part in providing efficient service to guests and contributing to a positive dining experience. Essential Functions and Duties
Clear tables of used dishes, glassware, and utensils in a timely and efficient manner. Clean and reset tables for the next guest, ensuring all areas are neat and presentable. Assist servers by delivering food and beverages as needed. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including floors, chairs, and service stations. Refill water glasses and provide additional service support as required. Carry dishes, trays, and glassware to the dishwashing area. Ensure all service stations are stocked with necessary supplies throughout the shift. Follow proper sanitation and safety guidelines when handling food and beverages. Assist with restaurant setup and breakdown during opening and closing shifts. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties. Required Experience, Education, and Skills
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills to assist servers and provide excellent guest service. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. Work Environment
Primarily an indoor environment with frequent standing and walking required throughout the shift. Exposure to cleaning chemicals and kitchen equipment. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. and handle repetitive physical tasks such as clearing and resetting tables. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required. Other Duties
