Position Summary:
The Operations Intern will assist in supporting the day-to-day functions of our organization, helping to ensure that internal systems, administrative processes, and logistics operate effectively. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone interested in nonprofit management, administration, or organizational development. Responsibilities:
Support daily administrative tasks and organizational operations Assist with maintaining and organizing files, records, and databases Contribute to process documentation and operational manuals Assist with procurement, vendor management, and office supply tracking Ensure the maintenance and operations of the shelter are at a high standard Assist with hands-on maintenance projects Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree program in Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, Business, or a related field Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Basic maintenance skills Effective written and verbal communication Ability to work independently and take initiative Comfortable using Microsoft Office Passion for social impact and nonprofit work Preferred Skills:
Basic data analysis or reporting skills Prior volunteer or internship experience in a nonprofit setting What You'll Gain:
