Fabrication Project Manager
Selectek has an exciting role for a candidate that is able to take on the challenging role of acting as our client's Fabrication Project Manager. This position will be responsible for all inventory and manufacturing activities. This role works closely with the Engineering department and its Project Engineers, Estimator, Sales, and Admin. Inventory Management Responsibilities: Maintain proper levels of U.S. stock components Establish and adjust stock levels as required Establish and adjust Economic Order Quantities as required Visit inventory sites when inventory arrives to manufacture partner site Working within the ERP system order stock components as required Working with logistics, coordinate container shipments from Manufacturing to U.S. manufacturing facilities/partners. Perform physical inventory counts as required. Manufacturing Manager Responsibilities: Closely monitor projects schedule, manufacturing, and production process for projects Work directly with manufacturing to ensure individual project schedules are met Must be able to open and edit manufacturing drawings from engineer produced 3-D models Working closely with Project Managers, prepare and process manufacturing drawings as required Working closely with Project Managers to prepare and process Bill of Materials associated with project components Prepare and process packing lists for project shipments Maintain company manufacturing standards and ensure manufacturing is in compliance Ensure manufacturing is performed within project budget and with industry standards and regulations. Facilitate manufacturing meetings as required Site visit to manufacturing facilities and/or jobsite to inspect, test, and measure equipment Required: 5 plus years acting as a project manager overseeing the manufacturing and inventory management of a manufacturing facility. CAD experience to help manipulate drawings when needed.
