Summary of the Job: As a trusted financial partner, the senior advisor (SBSA) is a small business financial solution expert that helps business owners build confidence in their financial decision making. At the intersection of relationship banking and specialized expertise, this advisor delivers "in the moment" advice across the full spectrum of small business banking solutionsfrom lending and credit facilities to treasury management and merchant services. The SBSA plays a vital role within our small business ecosystem, growing and retaining customers, expanding our deposit base, loan portfolio, and core product adoption. About This Role: Operating within a dynamic and evolving business environment, this position requires exceptional adaptability and efficiency. The ideal candidate excels at working collaboratively with colleagues throughout FNBO, effectively connecting branch staff, community banking teams, and subject matter experts in products and processes. Key Accountabilities: Deliver "in the moment" advice to small business customers via digital tools (phone, video, email, online tools) Serve as a small business financial solution expert, providing tailored solutions across deposit products, loans and lines up to $250K, credit card, and payments based on the unique needs of the customer Manage the end-to-end lending journey from initial inquiry to loan closing Manage a portfolio of high-value small business customers to drive retention, growth, and optimal service Consistently use the Salesforce platform as the central customer management tool
ensuring comprehensive visibility regarding customer needs Facilitate smooth referral transitions to FNBO expert resources (Bankers, Merchant Advisors, Community RMs, Payment Advisors) Exemplify high standards of service while providing feedback and insights to continuously improve the small business operating model The Ideal Candidate for This Role: Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience Fluent in Spanish 3-5 years of experience advising small business customers on financial solutions (community banking RM, credit analyst, branch manager, branch banker, entrepreneur) Strong business acumen with knowledge of diverse types of businesses and industries Demonstrated sales practices and acumen Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Highly collaborative and effective team player Highly proficient in digital tools and platforms (MS office suite, Salesforce, Phone Systems) Compensation: Compensation range (base pay): $88,067.00-$145,309.00 This role may have a specific starting pay within this range. Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
