Executive Director Skincare Partner

Supports Executive Director as leader of skincare category. Partner with ED to deploy global marketing objectives, strategies, three-year innovation pipeline and 360 proposal for skincare, ensuring alignment with licensor vision and skincare category strategy (positioning, pricing, assortment, distribution, merchandising, launch support). Lead development of 360 go-to-market toolkits in collaboration with creative, VM, PR & communications, retail & omnichannel, and education teams. Ensure a complete, disruptive proposal for all product innovation and hero animations, to be delivered in a timely manner. Manage skincare marketing calendar in collaboration with ED and with signature, specialty & cosmetics counterparts. Work closely with regional marketing leaders to ensure programs are locally/culturally relevant and meet global/regional shipment/retail targets. Identify new product concepts, technologies, market trends, product gaps and category/franchising opportunities with consumer insights and product development teams, connecting creativity and data analytics. Execute all launches with cohesive integration of the brands vision, ingredient story and sustainability; all with a link to the brands world. Partner with editorial to refresh and refine language for skincare. Build forecast offerings and bulletins detailing new program introduction and execution. Partner with global demand planning to estimate program potential. Ensure accuracy of forecast offering vs. demand planned. Oversees accuracy and timeliness of all IMW postings. Lead bi-weekly PPD meetings for skincare. Ensure seamless development of new product launches in collaboration with key support groups including product development, global brand supply chain, packaging and GSR to drive all programs from inception through timely execution. Track timetables and cost objectives and ensure they are met, including new products, seasonal programs and support collateral. Support in defining sustainability strategy, which will require a business model evolution (price increases, impact to supply chain) and ensure successful evolution of packaging (i.e., Plastic Out) by FY23. Partner with PD to identify a sustainable ingredient story for each skincare product. Partner with ED to develop the skincare collection. Reinforce uber luxe authority by defining a profitable business model anchored in authenticity, personalization and sustainability. Ensure seamless development of product launch and successful roll out of collection (objective 100 doors by FY23), including complete, unique retail experience (services, CRM). Track new product launches to ensure accuracy for category profitability. Track ROI of 360 proposals, sampling and support collateral. Ensure flawless execution of skincare saleable, collateral and merchandising by collaborating with creative. Partner with specialty marketing to inform and develop strategy and offering for exclusive programs, year-round gifting, sampling strategy. Compile and analyze market/competitive data and track performance of new launches. Collaborate with analytics team to update sales report monthly. Partner with corporate pricing team to deploy pricing strategy across all markets. Liaise with legal on product name approval, trademark management. Develop key presentations, present marketing initiatives at internal and external meetings. Develop direct report. Qualifications: 6+ years' work experience in beauty or other CPG marketing. Global marketing experience preferred. Knowledge of product development, supply chain, packaging, advertising, finance and sales. Knowledge of luxury segment and consumer mindset in skincare. Experience working with the Chinese consumer and China market preferred. Appreciation of the brand voice/creator, ability to execute vision. Strong leadership, influence, organizational and project management skills. Strategic thinker, analytical, creative, detail-oriented, flexible, independent and resourceful. Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills. Ability to work on a small but fast-growing business in lean, entrepreneurial environment. Undergraduate degree, MBA plus.
